Crazy Lobster Secures Balmain Restaurant Building
A fully fitted and functioning restaurant in a classic standstone building at Balmain in Sydney’s inner west has been secured by the Crazy Lobster Restaurant and Cafe.
The property at 191 Darling Street, Balmain, was leased in a deal negotiated by Ray White Commercial Inner West Principal Tim Morrison on behalf of a local investor.
Tim Morrison said Crazy Lobster head chef and restaurateur Sasha Alexander currently operated a number of other restaurants in the area.
“Mr Alexander felt there was a gap in Balmain’s restaurant market for a unique menu offering a fusion of cuisines,” he said.
“Crazy Lobster’s menu will comprise a mixture of rustic Italian and French inspired breakfasts as well as handmade pasta and seafood for lunch and dinner.”
Tim Morrison said the restaurant was positioned in a great location with optimum exposure.
“The restaurant seats 60 to 70 people and offers space of 94 sqm,” he said.
“The site is strategically located in the centre of Darling St, close to all major amenities and public transport links.”
Crazy Lobster Restaurant has taken out a five year lease at a gross rental of $105,600 per annum.
